Dog Books

Oh how they love dog books! Can't keep enough of them on the shelves.
What a great thing that is. There are so many distractions in education
these days and watching children's excitement over finding the right
dog book is magical. Publishers are savvy about this, also. Encouraging
John Grogan to write a children's version of his best selling book, Marley and Me
was genius. What a hit! The illustrations are fabulous and the story is
is hysterical. He has written several versions of Marley books for young
children and middle grade readers also. Anything that gets kids excited
about reading is wonderful. Keep writing, Mr. Grogan and keep publishing
great picture books, publishers! Our young readers need these appealing
books to motivate them to read more.
